The Academic General Assembly of the ASBÜ Faculty of Political Sciences was held on Thursday, September 19, 2024, at the cafeteria of our university’s Sümerbank Building, under the chairmanship of the Dean of the ASBÜ Faculty of Political Sciences, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Akif Kireçci, with the participation of our Rector, Prof. Dr. Musa Kazım Arıcan, and the faculty members of the Faculty of Political Sciences.

During the meeting, following the opening address by the Dean of the ASBÜ Faculty of Political Sciences, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Akif Kireçci, and the speech of our Rector, Prof. Dr. Musa Kazım Arıcan, evaluations were made regarding the activities of the 2023–2024 Academic Year. The activities planned for the 2024–2025 Academic Year were also discussed.

As part of the meeting, a Certificate of High Appreciation was presented to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zeynep Burcu Uğur as the faculty member with the highest number of publications in the 2023–2024 Academic Year. Certificates of Appreciation were awarded to Prof. Dr. Gürol Baba, Prof. Dr. Çetin Önder, Prof. Dr. Barış Alpaslan, Assistant Professor Filiz Tutku Aydın Bezikoğlu, and Assistant Professor Ayşenur Karakaş Aydınbakar.

This was followed by an informative presentation delivered by the Scientific Research Projects (BAP) Coordination Unit.
