With the support of ASBU, one of the most important congresses in the world on the fields of Islamic Economy and Islamic Financing,"Internatıonal Congress of Islamıc Economy, Fınance and Ethıcs (ISEFE'19)" was held in Hilton Hotel, Kozyatağı, İstanbul on 27-29 April, 2019.
In this two-day scientific activity, as well as the participation of many scientists around the world, lots of scientists working on this field from our country also had opportunity to present their articles. The congress, one of whose organizers is our university, was held with the support of İstanbul Chamber of Commerce, Islamic Development Bank Group, Islamic International Rating Agency, Turkish Airlines, Istanbul Stock Exchange, TÜRGEV, Turkish Youth Association, KSP Journals, World Halal Council, GİMDES, Economy Club, Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University, Uludağ University, KTO Karatay University, Iğdır University, Trakya University, Düzce University ve INCEIF.
On the first day of ISEFE Congress, whose opening speech was made by Prof. Dr. Seyfettin Erdoğan, Chairman of Congress Organizing Council, and Prof. Dr. Bayram Sade, the Rector of KTO Karatay University, articles of some esteemed scientists such as Refik Korkusuz from İstanbul Medeniyet University, Prof. Dr. Obiyathulla Ismath Bacha from INCEIF, Prof. Dr. Tariqullah Khan from Hamad Bin Khalifah University, Prof. Dr. Murat Çizakça from KTO Karatay University, Dr. Alaa Alaabed from Islamic International Rating Agency, Assoc. Prof. Mohamed Eskandar Shah Mohd Rasid and Assoc. Prof. Muhammad Yusuf Saleem from INCEIF, Faheem Ahmad from Islamic International Rating Agency, Dr. M. Wail Aaminou from Almaali Group, Prof. Dr. Hamdi Döndüren from KTO Karatay University, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Yasin from Al-Iraqia University were presented. After panels, nearly 80 papers were presented on different fields of Islamic Economy and Finance in concurrent sessions. The closing panel of the congress "Islamic Finance as an alternative method to fund real investments" was held in Konya within the cooperation of KTO Karatay University and Konya Chamber of Commerce.
