International Congress of Management, Economy and Policy (ICOMEP) was held on April 20-21, at Kozyatağı Hilton Hotel in collaboration with Social Sciences University of Ankara, Düzce University, Trakya University, Bursa Uludağ University, UMSL - University of Missouri-St. Louis and Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University.

ICOMEP started with an opening panel focusing on “Politico-Economic Evaluation of International Trade and Collaborations Between the Countries” and the panel was moderated by Prof. Kenan Aydın, the dean of Yıldız Technical University Faculty of Management and Administrative Sciences. The panelists and their presentation subjects were: Prof. Sel Dibooglu  “Sources of US External Imbalances: The Role of International Reserve Demand and Triffin’s Dilemma”, Dr. Stefano Siviero  “Recent Developments in Forecasting Modeling (Modeling Before and After the Great Financial Crisis): Lessons Learnt, New Tools, Challenges Ahead”, Dr. Esfer Ali  “The Effects of Foreign Direct Investments Which Flow From Turkey to North Macedonia on Socioeconomic Relations Between the Two Countries”, Prof. Ghulam Mursaleen “Dynamics of India Turkey Relations Under AK Party Period” and Prof. Konstantin Tsvetkov “Free Software Alternatives Used for Training Students in Project Management”. Many academicians, experts, business people and bureaucrats from Turkey and abroad attended the parallel sessions during which almost 100 theoretical and practical papers from different study areas were presented.
