ENSCON 2019 Conference, held with collaboration of Social Sciences University of Ankara (ASBU), Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University, Iğdır University, Uludağ University, Bursa Technical University and İstanbul Yeni Yüzyıl University hosted former Energy and Economy Minister of Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus  and Azerbaijan deputy Prof. Dr. Elman Nasirov.

ENSCON'19 International Congress of Energy, Economy and Security which has scientific prestige in the international arena was held with support of a great number of institutions, organisations and universities at İstanbul Hilton Kozyatağı Hotel on 6-7 April 2019. The coordinators of the Congress were Prof.Dr.Seyfettin Erdoğan and Assoc.Prof. Dr. Ayfer Gedikli and energy as a topic was discussed in terms of different aspects. This year, the theme of the Congress was mainly based on sustainable energy policies. The opening panel entitled “Sustainable Energy Policies: Global Trends, Country Cases and Policy Suggestions” was moderated by General Secretary of İstanbul Chamber of Commerce Assoc.Prof.Dr.Nihat Alayoğlu and besides Prof.Dr.Muhammed Shahbaz, one of the prominent scientists in the field of energy economy, former Energy and Economy Minister of Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus  Sunat Atun, who assumed a signficant role during our natural gas exploration works in the Eastern Mediterranean, Azerbaijan deputy Prof.Dr. Elman Nasirov,     Assoc.Prof.Dr.Leila Dagher from American University of Beirut, Dr.Daniel Balsalobre Lorent from University of Castilla-La Macha, and Dr. Muhamad Ali Nasir from Leeds Business School made their presentations discussing energy policies of Turkey, the future of energy and energy cooperation. Furthermore, about eighty academic papers were presented by scholars expert in their fields.

Prof.Dr.Ayhan Orhan, "Power Economy  and Energy Efficiency" moderated by Dr.Yusuf Temur, "Global Energy Market and Energy Policies" .
