On November 7, 2019, Assoc. Prof. Dr.  Barış Alpaslan, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Political Sciences and Prof. Dr. Mine Özyurt Kılıç, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages visited Prof. Dr. M. Öcal Oğuz, President of Turkish National Commission for UNESCO.

Our Faculty's Academic Committee Meeting was held on September 30, 2019 with the attendance of our Rector Prof. Mehmet Barca.

On 15 May 2019, as part of the "ASBU SBF Seminars", Dr. Serkan Keçeci from İzmir Dokuz Eylül University History Department, presented his talk entitled "The Grand Strategy of the Russian Empire in the Caucasus against Its Southern Rivals, 1821-1833".
